NANHI TOLI KE KARNAAME is a comic book discussing the issue of child sexual abuse through stories that emerged from interactions with school children from the city across economic categories and backgrounds. The book discusses the very prevalent issue through part fact-part fiction comic interweaved with legal information and providing support referrals.
Implemented in the state of Delhi in India.
Creating a comic using a few real stories can be challenging. But to make it interesting, to make it a motivating instead of intimidating, to mobilize the young readers using relatable settings, characters and language made the comic identifiable with the audience to pick it up and be sensitized about the issue.
