MAJBOOR KISKO BOLAis a program addressing the problem of bonded labour in India. The toolkit uses picture cards and storytelling that helps to initiate discussion on the issue and enables to create awareness, with necessary linkages to legal aid, health information and government redressal schemes.
Interactive in nature, this tool kit is based on case studies from the community.
Implemented in the states of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh in India.
Using stories from the lives of the audience, the toolkit uses visual storytelling as the key communication vehicle to first engage in a discussion and then impart information. Using big, bold, simple but colourful illustrations and a compelling story from their lives, the toolkit has proved to be a successful storyteller in itself.
