SAFE GAADI is a Mobile App on Gender sensitization for the autorickshaw drivers of Delhi. The App has components to create awareness on gender, equality and respect also enabling them on life skills, legal aid and traffic laws.
Through multiple games and quizzes, this App is like an interactive conversation that has helped in mobilizing the auto drivers to ensure safe public transport for women.
An audio jingle was specially created to mobilize the drivers to make this App a part of their system and that took a life of its own on their mobile circuits.
Implemented in the state of Delhi in India.
Using bright colours, bold typography and direct communication, the App has a vibrant visual feel with a conversational tone for messaging. Beginning with basic life skill lessons to nuanced conversations on gender, social systems and challenging stereotypes App is a complete tool on gender sensitivity ensuring participation and interaction from the audience.
