WE CAN is a multi-media campaign addressing the problem of gender-based violence in South Asia. Various interactive visual materials across genres were made to create a platform for discussion on gender-based issues.
Documenting community-based interventions like community radio, street plays, lawyers’ solidarity, the support of police, faith leaders, doctors and the community at large across South Asia thus created a strong advocacy tool highlighting the ownership of the community and all the stakeholders.
Documenting community-based interventions through desk calendars and picture book, using voices from the ground highlighted the empowering tone of the stakeholders, the materials helped in bringing forth the sense of partnership among communities across South Asia.
