(Training/ Trafficking/ Documentation)
ME BY ME was a self-documentation project for the sex workers to document their lives. The training book was created for them as a ready reference on basics of photography, how to use the camera, simple rules on composition, framing etc.
Since the users were technologically challenged, concepts of photography were simply explained for a quick reference.
Creating a training manual for an audience that had no exposure to photographic practice (in a pre-mobile era) the content was explained in very simple steps with an accessible feel in terms of design. This made the project accessible and created a sense of ownership.
